From Deep Space With Love: Tracy Farquhar and 'Frank'

It's been clear to me for a while that most contacts with allegedly 'alien' beings are actually received over the human psychic rather than physical sensory channel - from the 1940s post-Theosophical groups who saw UFOs as a *confirmation* of their already-existing contacts (eg Borderlands Research), through Phyllis Schlemmer's 'The Nine' and the late-1960s 'A New Mode of Communication' psychic experiments and contactee research at Douglas Aircraft which brought Robert Wood into the UFO scene. (see eg http://www.checktheevidence.co.uk/cms/i ... &Itemid=51 - I note that Joseph Brown (no relation to Townsend) has updated his 'ether theory' that he started during that research just last year). And many others, no doubt.

Further, in the last maybe... five years or so I've noted a trend among the more open-minded UFO and Forteana researchers (eg: people like Nick Redfern) of moving away from the 'nuts and bolts' paradigm and back to the Vallee/Keel 'extradimensional' paradigm.

So I found it interesting to stumble on a book in a local bookstore from psychic Tracy Farquhar describing a contact from an entity which approached her in 2009, and then later in 2013. The entity - rather similarly to The Nine - claims to be a collective of eight beings from a distant galaxy who are (psychically, not physically) observing our world. Also like The Nine's 'Tom', this group call themselves 'Frank'.

Unlike "The Nine', there doesn't seem to be quite such an aura of weirdness and conspiracy around Farquhar and Frank. There is a slight whiff of commercialism, as after her first self-published book ('Frank Talks', 2014 - https://www.amazon.com/Frank-Talk-Book- ... 1505427509 ) she has caught the attention of New Age book and seminar guru Mike Dooley, and it's her second book which came out this year with his co-authorship on it 'From Deep Space With Love' - https://www.amazon.com/Deep-Space-Love- ... bc?ie=UTF8

The odd thing? From what I've seen of Farquhar's 'Frank' material, it looks very positive and common-sense.

The message is a familiar and recurring one among spiritualists and New Age channellers going back to the 19th century: The Earth is approaching a critical transition point. We face grave planetary challenges, but also the chance to build a planetary society. There is much interest and support from those around us, in multiple dimensions. We need to evolve more toward love for each other and reshape our society to a more socially compassionate, ecologically sustainable, and less hierarchical base. This looks hard but we each have more power than we know. There is a loving intelligence behind the universe and it manifests inside every being. We should get in touch with this Source, which is also our own best/higher nature. Then we will each know what we personally need to do to help the transition. The other intelligences observing us can't do this internal work for us, we have to do it ourselves, because it is an important learning opportunity. They wish us all the best and will help as much as they can. They do not communicate in words but in thoughts and emotions, or some layer even deeper.

If that's the true nature of 'alien contact', then I'm okay with it, I think.

It is. Of that referenced alien contact. The confederation I collectively call Visitants.

I am tempted to agree with this. My experiences suggest that the human mind is capable of less than some claim but more than most would admit whilst sober. I believe some animals to be quite capable of an exchange of "Inner Cinema" and other non-verbal impressions and memories. Communal animals learn to share their dreams. I am becoming increasingly adept at getting insects, particularly bees, to walk onto my hand and stay there while I walk to the door or window. Recently I did this with a wasp, a notoriously irascible creature. Fruitbat reported some success with the techniques of "reaching out" and "listening" when his beloved cat Blackjack became sick, to the extent that he was able to find a tumour growing in the cat's mouth. I suspect that this is a proximity effect whereby one brain is capable of inducing electrical activity in another by dint of its radiated electromagnetic waveforms - but I don't know for sure. It could equally be that a different, more mysterious, degree of freedom is employed

As far as the aliens are concerned, and perhaps most controversially of all, I think I may have received some technical and scientific information from them.

Alas, I lack the courage to attempt the experiments they may have suggested to me, I am very concerned that Our Glorious Leaders are not at all trustworthy and perhaps I'm happy with my illusions and I would not want to risk damaging them by a null result :)

The ideal situation for me would be a lotto win which enabled me to emigrate to one of the Visegrad nations and set up a laboratory. As the pioneers of Solar System mining, they would be less likely to bow to Brussels and begin that process of national and cultural destruction they are so keen to avoid. There's no substitute for experience, as the saying goes - and they have had plenty of that

A link here to my other post on the 'Rain on the Window' thread, which could equally have been here:

Perhaps it's just that I've only just noticed but there seem to be quite a lot of new 'alien channellings' happening in the last five years.

I... don't necessarily want to believe in them and yet, I feel like in the last couple of weeks particularly I'm been repeatedly drawn to this idea.

If this isn't complete nonsense, 1) there seem to be quite a lot of beings out there who are benevolent and 2) the Earth really is entering a new era. Call it a new age, a new sector of the galaxy, a spiritual awakening, maybe all of the above. But a lot of signs seem to be converging on this. Some kind of energy is being released across the planet. There may be environmental, economic and political chaos yet people are also 'waking up' in some way I don't quite understand.

And I'm actually quite relaxed about it! Isn't that surprising?

Hi Nate. Interesting. I suspect that I may have received such communications. I am certainly far too dense to have arrived at the conclusions I have reached unaided. We live in interesting times.

And yes, it's great, exciting and a little frightening all at the same time. The best of all :)

I feel as if the ideas I'm being drawn to in the last couple of weeks are circling around the currently-trendy idea of 'starseeds'. Which if I understand correctly, dates back quite a long way. Certainly 1970s... but maybe 1940s, with Borderland Sciences and Mark Probert.

I still feel it's aspirational science-fiction, but if one wanted to go that route it *would* explain some things.

The idea being that people who have New Age or mystical tendencies may be 'souls incarnated from other star systems'. Hence our interest in frontiers of science, the stars, space travel, thought communication, etc. I dislike it immensely because it's just so cheap and silly and theatrical. Can't we all just be humans?

And yet. I seem to be drawn to it, in the sense that writers whose works resonate with me also seem to quietly be pushing this idea as well. And I have to decide whether to throw it all out together or not.

A specific writing I've been grappling with takes this 'starseed/lightworker' idea and plays with it: suggesting that people who feel attuned to the mystical in this way might indeed be 'special' but that our group's particular fault is a kind of *spiritual pride*. In that we desire so deeply to change the world for the better that we can be tempted to commit atrocities trying to do it (all beginning with trying to overrule other people's autonomy and self-determination to prevent them 'making the wrong choice'). In the science fictional metaphor of 'starseeds', we are people who once tried to fight a great war and discovered that getting all war-y and righteously angry and forcing others to comply with the 'greater good' did not actually help, in fact made things worse, and now we would like to help fix things. Our path is described as making sure we stay grounded (in a very real sense) to the energies of the Earth. Not to get too airy and dreamy or trying to be avenging angels. The Earth in this story is a kind of galactic neutral zone, a world where a bunch of warring space empires all have to learn to *stop fighting* a proxy war and that despite our various origins, we're all equal and valuable. That this in fact is Earth's special virtue: it's a place where old ways can be forgotten and new ideas can be born. So embrace the gift of *not* knowing our cosmic heritage (which is all mixed up, anyway, just like our Earthly one). We're here to create a new world together, not live out old battles best forgotten and forgiven.

As I said, it's a science fiction metaphor I don't particularly like. (A bit too Scientology for my tastes). But the psychological truth of the metaphor seems real enough. Growing up in a religious cult, I've experienced this dynamic intensely. Being told one is special and has a destiny to shape the world, but the means of trying to do so are restriction, control, and psychological abuse.

Same thing happened with Communism. Best of dreams, worst of methods. Did stuff-all to bring on the Golden Age.

It would be hilarious if we did discover that most of the people here on Earth are in fact aliens (not necessarily in any physical, genetic sense, just in a mystical/spiritual 'soul origin' sense). And we all think we're here to infiltrate the *others*.

I will try to hold this idea lightly. I'm not sure it's especially helpful, but it's maybe useful to remember that if we feel we're from 'somewhere else and don't fit in here', it might not be completely wrong, but it also doesn't mean we have any special insight either.

I do love the stars though. I look up at the night sky and think 'there, out there, that's *home*'. And films like 'Alien' annoy me immensely because I think 'that's not right, space isn't like that, it's filled with cool people not evil monsters.' Why *do* some people look at the sky and get very different feelings?

Yes indeed. That feeling of "special" is merely "different" and that spiritual pride need to be resisted. Best we can do is walk our path and speak our truths and whoever comes along will do so because they agree with us. I wish more people in public life felt that way, especially in politics. Sadly, many of them - and the people who vote for them - sound like they're on the road to totalitarianism.

Having said all that, I don't have a problem with others getting militant and aggressive because they don't agree with my philosophy or world view. I've done some bad things to people who chose not to back down and walk away - but instead attempted to overrule my autonomy and self-determination. And it does not haunt me or bother me. It was their choice and it was a bad one. I just try to stick to my default position of peace , love and understanding - if someone has enough of a problem with that that they run onto my sword, then I'll just step over them and carry on.

As to religious cults, beware of the seduction of Manifest Destiny; it is the road to madness. As you say, restrictions, controls and psychological abuse. This has little to do with the will of a Creator and everything to do with the will of man. It is too high a price to pay for social cohesion and a feeling of belonging. This controlling instinct seems to be prevalent in all the brain-boiler religions that have emanated from the Middle East. My advice is "Love heartily, tread softly and carry a F*****g Big Stick".

And space is filled with both timeless ageless beings of light and evil monsters and we should be ready to give either category the appropriate welcome.

In my humble opinion.

I agree that we should be very careful about 'what kind of entities' we want to contact. For me, I subscribe to the belief that we attract the kinds of energy that we put out. There are certainly some energies I don't want to send out or amplify.

Probably my whole life has been trying to understand just what that means in real terms.

Hmm. Here's an interesting data point.

I went looking for information on Barbara Marx Hubbard, and hit this Youtube: a conference call for the Co-Creators Convergence in May 2017 (I guess that's sort of a group of Hubbard fans? Since 'co-creation' seems to be her buzzword)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HjuwbP4yXc
https://www.cocreatorsconvergence.com/ccc-2017-1

Guess what the theme was this year: 'Galactic Co-Creation'. I presume because they have some of the psychics hosting 'galactics' (ie: trance channel entities, like 'Frank', claiming to be ETs from other stars in our galaxy) on the line.

So.... that's interesting. Something seems to be 'in the air' on this theme this year. It's not just me picking up this signal.

(I don't know what's going on but I am feeling very strongly in the last month that 'the time is now'. In a longer sense I'm sure it's been true for centuries, the time is always now. But something especially interesting seems to be happening 'right now'. I don't know what it is; it's just a feeling.)
