This is a website that I located recently and I thought I would like to share with everyone.
Tell me what you think of it? Jess

Here is another very interesting website for those of you who want to research old UFO reports.
This is the website for Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO).
The reports go back to 1955.

Here's something for those Navy buffs. This is the ghost and this is what the U.S. Navy could be like in the future.
Here is the website: https://autos.yahoo.com/news/navy-warsh ... 44236.html

This is a very interesting case. There were several old Polaroid photos found of a UFO that were taken at Kirkland Air Force Base from 1961 through 1965.
There is an ongoing discussion as to whether these photos are legitimate or are faked, the consensus is still undecided.
I will leave it up to those viewing this to decide for themselves, but I did find it very interesting because of the date 1961.

Here is a very interesting site which has several old newspaper clippings from 1952 dealing with orders by the government to shoot down UFOs.
If you follow the links at the top of the page you also find some other very interesting information concerning U.S. Air Force generals
and what they were doing to debunk UFO sightings at that time. Jess

I have the following books:

UFO's and their mission impossible by Dr Clifford wilson
Flying saucers from outer space by donald keyhoe
Behind the flying saucers by Frank scully.

Would you recommend any one as being worth the time it takes to read?

All three books you have be our excellent but I think I would start with the one by Donald Keyhoe.
One thing is it he and Townsend Brown were connected and when you read books by particular authors you learn a lot about that author.
Also his book, Flying saucers from outer space, was made into a movie which was titled: Earth versus the flying saucers.
It is a very well known sci-fi movie one of the old so-called B movies.
Second I would read the one titled behind the flying saucers by Frank Scully.
Both of these books are very good bus remember they were written in the 1950s and a lot has changed since then.
Recently MUFON acquired ArcStarBooks.com. http://www.arcstarbooks.com/?utm_source ... dium=email
While the prices are in dollars it is a good site to learn the kinds of books that are available.

Fruitbat,

I have found my reading list growing beyond my ability to keep up. I still have not read the books that you have been mentioned... So I leave it to you...The only advice that I might have is to simply remember the year each book was published and what was going on at the time As you can see 1952 onward
Were very important regarding saucer sightings.

My trip away from home has expanded... But I will catch up in a big way when I get home,

Thanks for your comments too Jess. I agree with what you have said here....a question for you. Do you think that Mr, Bigelow had something to do with that transaction?

I think that many things recently regarding groups and conferences have his fingerprints on this situation. What do you think. Linda

I am not certain as to what you mean Linda?
If you mean the purchase of be book website by MUFON, no I do not think that he had anything to do with that.

Its just that when I see the word MUFON I just automatically think of Bigelow.... I may be incorrect in this but wasn't he involved in purchasing most of MUFONS back records or archives? I thought perhaps his interest then in the past history would carry forward into books written about the same time period. Just a passing thought. More tomorrow. Just got home from my trip.....alot of driving but a wonderful time. More later!

Anyway... do not worry about my thoughts regarding Bigelow..... I could be way off the mark.
